Responsibilities
- Lead system architecture definition, requirements development, and documentation for complex, multi-layered systems (20%).
- Develop and maintain system specifications, interface control documents, test plans, test procedures, test reports, and related engineering documents (20%).
- Oversee system and subsystem integration and acceptance testing, ensuring hardware and software elements meet functional and performance requirements (20%).
- Guide system, hardware, and software design activities by analyzing requirements, resolving design weaknesses, and ensuring cross-platform compatibility (20%).
- Perform and coordinate advanced engineering analyses supporting detailed design of components, assemblies, and system-level solutions (20%).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
- 8–12+ years of progressive systems engineering experience supporting complex hardware/software products.
- Expert knowledge of system architecture, requirements development, and integration practices.
- Strong proficiency in generating and maintaining engineering documentation, including ICDs, test plans, and requirements specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering efforts and resolve multi-disciplinary design issues.
- Experience conducting detailed system analyses, integration testing, and verification/validation activities.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
