Designs and implements Windows and Linux server and workstation technologies
- Responds to changing customer needs
- Implements enterprise-level services
- Focuses on data base operations & data handling across Windows/Linux/VMWare systems
- Includes Domain Services, SYSLOG, DHCP, AAA Services, WEFSNMP, NTP, Automated Patching, SIEM Services, 802.1x & 802.1x MAB, Inter-relation of DNS services across disparate authoritative zones, VMWare ESXi, vCenter, Horizon services - provisioning, system redundancy, performance, etc.
- Automates system data processing according to overarching data management policies
- Generates scripts (bash/sh/CMD/Python/PowerShell/etc.) in support of specific use cases
- Identifies and resolves system faults
- Resolves IAVA/STIG findings
- Conducts site surveys
- Maintains overall system health
- Reviews SIEM alerts
- Supports end user problems
Technical Expertise
- Expert understanding of Windows and/or Linux server technologies
- Expert competency with virtualization technologies
- Expert understanding of networking protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (5/7 years)
- Meets DoD 8570 IAT II requirements
- Proven shell-scripting experience
- Active Secret Clearance
