About the role
As a Systems Engineer, you will:
- Develop subsystem requirements documentation
- Develop CAMEO models of the subsystem
- Support requirements writing, other model-based systems engineering activities, and verification planning
- Collaborate with SEIT organization to create end-to-end integrated solutions
- Support a value-driven systems engineering team and facilitate design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way
- Support development of test, modeling, validation, and verification activities
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

- Facilitate design evolution in a systematic and value-driven manner
- Support test, modeling, validation, and verification activities
Requirements
- Experience working with various engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, safety, test) to develop requirements specifications
- Experience with CAMEO and/or DOORS
- Familiarity with requirements development
- Must have a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
- Experience writing requirements documentation and coordinating document release through approval processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build consensus among peers
- Experience with requirements management
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Knowledge of interfaces
- Experience in systems engineering, preferably in defense or aerospace environments
- Experience coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles
- Active Top Secret clearance
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $95,900.00 - $178,100.00
