Expertise And Functions Join a high-performing team within a mission-focused organizationProvide direct support to a national security-critical weapon system throughout engineering development, deployment, and sustainmentAct as a trusted partner to a digital engineering-driven Air Force organizationPerform a range of engineering duties in support of the program including, but not limited to, the following: Conducting technical nuclear surety analysis and risk assessmentPerforming safety/security evaluations of various subsystemsProviding direction on Nuclear Safety Design Certification compliance with integration into an MBSE environment to produce artifacts for Nuclear Certification IAW AFI 63-125Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training: Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required Master's Degree preferred Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree2+ years of relevant experience with a Master's DegreeExperience with DoD/AF Nuclear Surety policy and processes, and an understanding of the DoD Systems Engineering lifecycle requiredWorking knowledge of AFI 63-125 and 91-series AFIs/AFMANs requiredDirect experience with the Sentinel or MMIII weapon systems preferredExperience with MBSE and Dassault's Cameo or other MBSE tools (Rhapsody, etc.) preferredExperience with IBM Rational DOORS preferred Security: Must be a US citizenActive Secret clearance with willingness/ability to obtain a Top Secret requiredCandidates with Top Secret clearance will be given preference Physical Requirements: Able to occasionally reach with hands and armsProlonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a deskAdhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Short Term & Long Term DisabilityTraining & DevelopmentWellness Resources Salary: The projected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 per year. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
