About the role
Support satellite systems, ground infrastructure, and mission operations within a mission architecture team.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain systems engineering artifacts.
- Ensure technical consistency across disciplines.
- Enforce standards and best practices.
- Support requirements management, verification, and lifecycle traceability.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to organize technical documentation and support system development phases.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen.
- Degree in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of engineering experience or relevant internships.
- Understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and MBSE concepts including SysML.
- Experience with engineering tools such as requirements management platforms, MBSE tools, and configuration management software.
- Strong organizational, communication, and cross-disciplinary coordination skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with requirements tools like IBM DOORS.
- Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw.
- Familiarity with engineering software like Ansys.
- Knowledge of standards such as ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288.
- Exposure to spacecraft, satellite payloads, ground systems, and mission operations.
