Systems Engineer, Mid-Level
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level F-22 Systems Engineer to join our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering team in Berkeley, Missouri. This role is pivotal in supporting the F-22 program, with a focus on Diagnostics and Health Management (DHM) for the F-22 aircraft. The successful candidate will work closely with Subject Matter Experts, suppliers, field service representatives, and the U.S. Air Force to enhance modernization and sustainment practices across the entire F-22 fleet. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to national defense initiatives, improve aircraft reliability, and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent non-US qualification related to the work statement
- Active U.S. Security Clearance
- Minimum of 5+ years of engineering experience
Responsibilities
- Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrating technical parameters and ensuring compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces
- Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and architecture
- Conduct analysis for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, certification, and product assurance to ensure mission success
- Develop, maintain, and improve requirements management processes, tools, risk management, issue tracking, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessments
- Resolve cross-functional technical issues promptly and effectively
- Utilize data analytics to track trends, coordinate maintenance, and influence parts replacement cycles
- Collaborate with suppliers, subject matter experts, and field support representatives to identify aircraft availability and health improvements for the fleet
