About the role
The selected Systems Engineers will support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor responsible for providing technical contributions and guidance to systems engineering products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical contributions and guidance to systems engineering products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
- Apply Model Based Systems Engineering to develop and model requirements.
- Manage requirements or systems engineering artifacts using tools such as DOORS, Cameo, or JIRA.
- Communicate technical content to audiences of varying backgrounds with exceptional communication and critical thinking skills.
Requirements
- STEM B.S. Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university.
- A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start.
- Experience applying Model Based Systems Engineering to develop and model requirements.
- Experience managing requirements or systems engineering artifacts using tools such as DOORS, Cameo, or JIRA.
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical content to audiences of varying backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to work on-site in an office environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.
Skills
- Experience incorporating stakeholder feedback from multiple organizations (e.g. teams, IPTs, sectors) into actionable solutions.
- Experience taking systems engineering requirements or artifacts through the systems engineering lifecycle.
- Experience with requirement verification methods.

Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $72,700.00 - $276,100.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00
Schedule
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
