Responsibilities

• Facilitate functional analysis, requirements development, interface management, and system architecture development activities.
• Support system integration efforts across multiple engineering disciplines and external partners.
• Ensure configuration management and change control practices are followed in all system modeling activities and generation of engineering deliverables.
• Support engineering design reviews and change management activities, including evaluating technical risks, providing impact assessments, and identifying issues.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to facilitate design activities for cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• MS or BS in Engineering or a similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience with System Design methodologies and applications such as Cameo Systems Modeler for overall system design and requirements management.
• Experience developing system architectures, requirements, interfaces, verification plans, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with HTS and LTS magnets from a design or manufacturing background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience across the project lifecycle including functional analysis and requirements development, system integration, verification and validation, and risk analyses is desired.
• Focus on integration with Physics, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management.

Skills

• System Design methodologies and applications such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Experience with HTS and LTS magnets from a design or manufacturing background.
