Systems Engineer - Level 4 (AHT)
Relocation assistance may be available. This position requires an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope. Travel is required, approximately 10% of the time. This role is 100% on site in Chandler, AZ.

Responsibilities
- Serve as Mission Manager for the program, functioning in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.
- Generate and document system-level GMD booster and mission-specific requirements, perform vehicle performance assessments, and participate in system-level verification/data review activities.
- Create new system requirements and manage requirement changes in Requirements Management databases, working effectively with IPT leaders, team members, and government customers.
- Drive tasks to completion autonomously and mentor/train team members.
- Create and manage both original and revised specification/interface definition documents, coordinating document approval through peer review and signature process.
- Implement and manage system requirements in Requirements Management databases (DOORS).
- Provide data for and assist in risk management (identify potential risks) and trade study processes.
- Manage aspects of system design, analyses, interface verification, testing, and failure/anomaly resolution or mission operations.
- Participate in the creation of and manage changes to system or subsystem analytical models.
- Interface with IPT engineering staff as required.
- Prepare and present materials at major milestone meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline with 8 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience, or a PhD with 4 years of experience.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
- Experience developing requirements and designing missions without customer-directed requirements.
- Experience with requirements decomposition and allocation.
- Experience with mission timelines and mission CONOPs.
- Experience with range safety data products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to work on fast-paced development programs.
- Ability to travel.
- Experience leading within an IPT organization as a lead or SME.
- System testing and launch operations experience.
- Previous Cost Account Management experience.
- Systems Engineering experience working with development programs.

Pay
Primary level salary range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
