Responsibilities
- Supporting the development and validation of system-level requirements to align with customer needs and mission objectives.
- Designing, integrating, and testing complex systems by preparing technical documentation, schematics, and system models.
- Monitoring system performance and conducting data analyses to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate system modifications, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with contractual standards.
- Preparing detailed progress reports and maintaining comprehensive records of system configurations, testing procedures, and operational metrics.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in a system engineering role.
- One or more years of experience related to the design, development, integration, testing, and fielding of communication systems, networks, or technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT, or a technical discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to support system engineering processes including requirements analysis, design evaluation, and integration in accordance with contract specifications.
- Proficient in utilizing systems engineering methodologies and analytical tools to assess system performance and recommend operational enhancements.
- Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and system models to ensure compliance with DoD and industry standards.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies (e.g., SysML, UML).
- Proficiency in simulation and analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with an aptitude for troubleshooting and process improvement.
Skills
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies (e.g., SysML, UML) to improve system documentation and design integrity.
- Proficiency in simulation and analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) to assist in predictive system performance evaluations.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with an aptitude for troubleshooting and process improvement.
