Responsibilities

• Provide critical expertise to ensure complex systems remain functional and aligned with stakeholder needs
• Support system operability across concept, design, build, test, deployment, and disposal
• Translate technical, cost, and schedule constraints into complete system solutions
• Perform system planning, integration, verification, and validation
• Conduct functional and trade studies, timeline analysis, and interface definition to convert requirements into clear technical specifications
• Work as part of a motivated team to support mission success

Qualifications

• One of the following is required:
• PhD + 0 years experience
• Master’s + 3 years experience
• Bachelor’s + 5 years experience

Technical Proficiencies

• Languages: Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Docker, Ansible
• Tools & Platforms: Linux, GitLab, Maven, Gradle
• Dev Practices: Agile, Test-Driven Development (Junit, Selenium)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using CAMEO (preferred tool)
• Experience collaborating with software developers
• Ability to develop and describe knowledge-based technical solutions—highlighting the problem, technical approach, and key benefits like cost savings, efficiency, or time reduction
