Systems Engineer III
About the role
Assisting in developing and evaluating system architectures to ensure alignment with client requirements and mission objectives
Supporting configuration management and systems validation processes, ensuring that modifications comply with established standards and procedures
Analyzing system performance data, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate the integration, testing, and deployment of system components
Maintaining detailed documentation of system specifications, test procedures, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Three plus years experience in a system engineering role
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering discipline, computer science or IT discipline, or technical discipline
- Demonstrated ability to support the development, validation, and integration of system-level requirements per contract specifications and operational guidelines
- Proficient in analyzing technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, and functional specifications to inform system design enhancements
- Skilled in assisting with configuration management, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing data analysis to improve system performance
- Possess an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with systems engineering tools and methodologies, such as MBSE or SysML, to streamline system design and analysis
- Proficiency in using analytical software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) and diagnostic tools to support complex systems troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information effectively
- Experience with project management fundamentals and process improvement initiatives to optimize engineering workflows
