Responsibilities
- Understand complex systems architecture and recommend improvements
- Administer and engineer Linux for large server environments
- Troubleshoot server hardware issues effectively
- Manage large-scale production deployments of servers and applications
- Develop moderate to complex scripts for automation and tools
- Participate in an on-call rotation to address issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of engineering experience in a production role
- Experience managing thousands of bare metal and virtual machines
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu and RedHat
- Expertise in container orchestration services like Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD systems like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
- Expertise in configuration management tools like Chef or Ansible
