Systems Engineer I, Radar Analyst Onsite

About the role

Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineer I to support X-Band Radar technology. The role involves radar data analysis, systems integration, and supporting software development and systems engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and test planning/execution
• Execute verification/validation events
• Execute regression testing
• Perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations
• Support system performance assessments and validation testing
• Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined tasking milestones and schedules
• Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility
• Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness)
• Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware and ensure compliance with Department of Defense technology release and export licensing policies
• Willingness for 10% local and non-local travel including experience with domestic and foreign military sales products

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior experience
• Experience with System Engineering
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, and/or other programming languages
• Experience using String/HWIL test equipment, radio frequency (RF) electronic hardware configuration and installation
• Understanding of MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems (Linux Red Hat), Unix, and Shell scripting for performing integration, verification, test, and data analysis, integrating and configuring electronics, installing/debugging software
• Knowledge with creating integration test procedures, test plans, test scripts, developing and maintaining configuration control documentation, and navigating through test setup
• Understanding of agile and DevSecOps processes, implement (or maintain) agile
• Individual integration skills, knowledge of radar and signal processing concepts, modeling and determining radar performance

Benefits

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. Pay

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD.
