Systems Engineer - Hardware

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Systems Engineer to support the development of Advanced Processing systems and subsystems within our Mission Systems team. Contribute to product development, from requirements derivation to integration, involving hardware, software, and firmware components. Ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables while meeting cost and schedule commitments. Support organizational process compliance, including Systems Engineering and Hardware Development processes. Utilize Digital Transformation tools such as model-based engineering, test automation, and Agile practices to define product capabilities and foster innovation. Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers, managing multiple responsibilities in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development from requirements derivation to integration, involving hardware, software, and firmware components.
• Ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables while meeting cost and schedule commitments.
• Support organizational process compliance, including Systems Engineering and Hardware Development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Systems Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree.
• Experience in hardware design, requirements derivation, and product integration.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and participate in cross-functional development teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
