Systems Engineer - Hardware

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Systems Engineer to join our Mission Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing advanced processing systems and subsystems, supporting hardware development from requirements derivation to product integration, ensuring technical integrity, quality, and timely delivery of project components, and applying Digital Transformation practices such as model-based engineering, test automation, and Agile development to foster innovation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development activities involving hardware, software, and firmware components.
• Support organizational process compliance, including systems engineering and hardware development processes.
• Maintain the technical integrity and completeness of deliverables, ensuring adherence to cost and schedule commitments.
• Leverage digital tools and practices to enhance development efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or related discipline, with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree.
• Hands-on experience in hardware design and systems engineering, including requirements derivation and product integration.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and program teams.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
