Systems Engineer AV/VTC Installer

About the Role

Koniag Data Solutions (KDS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Systems Administrator (AV/VTC) to support AV systems, install and inventory complex AV solutions, and provide VTC administration for KDS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. The role includes VTC administration, troubleshooting of existing systems, and yearly inventory for compliance across various regional field offices.

Responsibilities

• Inventory existing hardware within current deployments and new hardware prior to installation.
• Provide VTC Administration, including troubleshooting malfunctioning systems and user support.
• Install system hardware and wiring according to system drawings and properly remove older equipment.
• Track scheduled meetings and ensure room equipment is functioning properly prior to and during events.
• Conduct yearly inventory audits to ensure all VTC assets are tracked.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
• 2–4 years of experience in AV/VTC systems installation, integration, or a related field (e.g., equipment inventory, component installation, cable runs, wiring, and room preparation).
• Hands-on experience with VTC cabling routing and installation.
• Ability to administer VTC systems, including meeting setup, secure communications configuration, and end-user support.
• Comfortable collaborating with and supporting both technical and end-user personnel.
