Systems Engineer - Atmospheric Systems
Job Description
Brooks Automation is a leading provider of automation solutions for the semiconductor and life sciences industries. As a Systems Engineer (Atmospheric Systems), you will play a crucial role in designing, defining, and implementing complex system requirements for customers and preparing studies and analyses of existing systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, define, and implement complex system requirements for customers and/or prepare studies and analyzes existing systems.
- Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- Cook up design of subsystems and integrate the total system.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies.
- Validate and test system level tool performance based on sub-system module performance and integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of experience OR a Master's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on systems engineering experience (design, troubleshooting, test, analysis, etc.).
- Design of Experiments and Lab Skills.
- Knowledge of Reliability and/or Statistical Analysis.
- Knowledge of V-model representation of a system development life cycle.
- Working knowledge of Lab Equipment (o-scope, spectrum analyzer, data logger, etc.).
- Experience developing and delivering Semiconductor Capital Equipment to Tier 1 OEMs is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Creo CAD system and Agile is a plus.
- Working knowledge of scripting language such as Python is a plus.

Pay
Base Salary Range: $110,621.72 USD to $149,664.68 USD Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
Schedule
Work arrangements may include a mix of in-office and remote work, depending on the nature of the role and business needs.
