Systems Engineer

About the role

Lead modernization efforts for enterprise data flow. Provide Tier 1 operations support for customer data flow requests. Specify requirements for new data flows and coordinate with service providers. Define processes, business rules, and functional requirements for mission systems supporting data flow. Plan and implement dataflows for critical cyber missions. Broaden skills in cross-domain technologies, data handling, and schema development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working on federal government contracts
• Experience with data flow, Apache NiFi, or mission systems
• Experience defining and applying data tagging and handling requirements
• Experience analyzing and defining data schemas and data processing requirements
• Experience developing capability-level and functional requirements, mission scenarios, use cases, or business processes
• Knowledge of data governance concepts (provenance, classification, sizing, retention, sharing, marking)
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in an IT Engineering field and 7+ years of systems engineering experience, or 12+ years of systems engineering experience without a degree
