Objective Be available across a 24/5 shift patternProficiently utilise multiple systems applications to drive the operational performance of the site.Order release management into the warehouse pick environmentReal time troubleshootingMonitoring the Execution of the Wave Management processMonitoring of replenishmentsAdhere/ Chasing of pick sequencing/ routesResponsible for the outbound process to ensure customer orders are dispatched Warehouse queries: coordination of emergency orders/ route progressAd hoc reporting as required by the operational needs of the businessEscalation managementInbound monitoring of data to ensure there are no operational issues Main Duties & Responsibilities Overseeing planning of all Warehouse orders to ensure that departure times are keptCompleting Hourly and Daily reports to document Shift performanceCo-ordinating replenishments for the just in time model to ensure stock is available in high speed picking areasCo-ordinating Customer Requests, cancellation of orders or modification of ordersCreating plans to deal with scheduled operation downtime and understanding the effects of this downtimeRaising issues with external and external vendorsEscalation of issues through documented escalation procedureIdentifying areas of improvement in day-to-day Operations Qualification, Experience & Skills Required Minimum Honors Degree in an Engineering discipline3- 4 years prior Process engineering experienceExperience in the Pharma/FMCG sectors an advantageLean six sigma qualification an advantage Competencies of the successful candidate Attention to detailResults orientatedStrong numerical & analytical skillsAbility to learn new systems quicklyAbility to see problems as a challengeDevelop an in-depth understanding of the interaction between systemsHave an ability to use multiple system applicationsBe a strong team playerHave excellent timekeepingBe efficient with Microsoft Applications, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc..Be able to attend Warehouse for all shifts.
