Systems Engineer

About the role

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a full‑time risk and opportunity manager with a Systems Requirements and Architecture background. In this role you will own the program risk management database, interface with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and program leads to keep the database up to date. The position requires onsite support at Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX, with a hybrid arrangement (2 days onsite) and the ability to work partially remote when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the program risk management database.
• Interface with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and program leads to ensure the database is current.
• Provide onsite support full‑time at Lockheed Martin’s Grand Prairie, TX headquarters (hybrid‑2 days onsite).
• Be available to come onsite when required for classified lab work.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain or possess an active security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, computer engineering, computer science/software engineering, electrical engineering, engineering (undeclared), mechanical engineering, or other STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience managing risk and opportunity.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with IBM DOORS (DOORS).
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Familiarity with system design concepts and tradeoffs.
• Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment.
