OVERVIEW
Program = Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN) Engineering Support Services (ESS)
TEKsystems is a named sub contractor under the prime Booz Allen.
This work is supporting ONE-Net, which is the enterprise network used by the US Navy for their Naval base locations outside the continental United States (OCONUS).
PROJECT
Objectives are to architect, engineer and deploy the latest version of SolarWinds Orion platform.
There is an existing SolarWinds team in place but we need additional support.
In this role, the SolarWinds Systems Engineer will focus on designing, implementing, maintaining, and configuring the SolarWinds Orion suite of products including…
Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
Server and Application Monitor (SAM)
and other Orion components, including…
Network Configuration Manager (NCM)
Storage Resource Monitor (SRM)
IP Address Manager (IPAM)
Web Performance Monitor (WPM)
Network Traffic Analyzer (NTA), and
Virtual Manager (VMAN)
Objectives
- Work effectively with the enterprise architects and engineers for technologies such as Splunk, VMWare, or OS
- Create and provide training to operations teams
- Develop guidelines and documentation
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the SolarWinds monitoring solution

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
