About the role
Sentar is seeking a Systems Engineer in San Diego, CA supporting Airborne Networking and Advanced Development Technical Support.
Responsibilities
- Supports DOW or complex airborne platform-based systems
- Designs, integrates, tests, and fields systems
- Develops, verifies, and validates system requirements
- Supports installation, certification, and operational test activities
- Works within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) or cross-functional engineering environments
- Coordinates across multi-service or joint stakeholders
Requirements
- Cleared to Top Secret/SCI level
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering
- Extensive experience supporting complex DOW technical programs
- Extensive experience supporting airborne or SATCOM-based communication systems
- Extensive experience supporting test events such as SOVTs or similar operational verification efforts
- Extensive experience supporting readiness certifications or technical review boards
- Extensive experience in technical leadership or project management roles
- Extensive experience coordinating across multi-service or joint stakeholders
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience
- Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI

- Extensive experience supporting complex DOW technical programs
