Systems Engineer

A new enterprise capability lives on a steady stream of technology decisions, and each one needs real analysis behind it before leadership commits. The Red Gate Group is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a Department of Defense intelligence customer, researching, assessing, and guiding technology solutions and system configurations for a newly established joint program office.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and assess promising technology solutions.
• Guide the development and refinement of system configurations and system interfaces.
• Analyze alternatives and cost‑benefit tradeoffs.
• Support the development of investment justification and decision context for leadership.
• Provide consultation on the integration and migration of system components.
• Assist in planning, coordination, and implementation of testing.
• Analyze test results and report findings.

Requirements

• 8+ years of systems engineering experience, including recent experience within the last 2 years (cannot be met through education or certifications).
• Master’s degree in a related field, **or** one of the following in its place:
  • Associate’s degree in a related field plus 4 additional years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 2 additional years of relevant experience.
  • 6 additional years of relevant experience.

  The additional years used in place of the degree are on top of the 8‑year experience requirement above.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current CI polygraph.
