About the role

L2T, LLC is seeking a Linux System Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role involves holding and maintaining a security clearance due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our networks meet or exceed standards
• Mentor junior team members
• Work with customers to meet their technology needs of the future
• Experience or sampling of the following topics:
• Linux Operating Systems to include, networking, desktops, firewalls, and servers
• Building, deploying, and documenting complex networks and systems
• Hypervisors, virtualization technology, and virtual desktop infrastructure
• Build and maintain secure and hardened configuration standards
• Experience with SaltStack automation framework
• Knowledge of network protocols, routing protocols, policy-based routing, security, and maintaining networking infrastructure

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Experience or sampling of the above topics

Qualifications

• A relevant college degree and/or practical experience, commensurate with the position you are seeking

Skills

• Linux System Administration
• Linux Internals (system calls, file systems and processes)
• Network Protocols, Routing Protocols, Policy-Based Routing, Security
• Automation Frameworks (SaltStack)

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 - $160,190 annually.
