Systems Engineer
The Role
The Systems Engineer at IERUS is responsible for performing systems engineering tasks including technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk studies, and supportability and effectiveness analyses. They also use tools to identify program requirements, track performance metrics, and manage the systems engineering process.
Responsibilities
- Performing systems engineering using technical planning;
- System integration, verification and validation;
- Cost and risk studies;
- Supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems;
- Using tools to identify different program requirements, tracking performance metrics, and managing the systems engineering process.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;
- 5+ years of experience performing systems engineering;
- Proficient in DOORS;
- Active Secret Clearance;
- Must be a US citizen.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred);
- Experience with Cameo (preferred);
- Experience with simulation model integration (preferred).
