Systems Engineer
About the Role
GRVTY is seeking a Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Herndon, VA.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- Experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN), including zoning and host groups
- Experience with Hitachi Storage
- Experience with Cisco switches
- Experience with Brocade and/or NetApp storage (EMC storage is translatable)
- Experience with VMWare
- Experience monitoring, patching, and working with an ISSE to address security concerns
- Experience with Hitachi HiCommand Software (installation and configuration)
- Experience with Hitachi Array hardware maintenance
- Experience as a Cisco Fiber Channel SAN Administrator
- Experience creating Cisco SAN fabrics and managing Cisco ISLs
- Experience with Cisco DCMN software and MDS9000 series hardware
- Ability to determine and identify dual‑active paths to and from all servers and storage arrays
- Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the sponsor’s IT equipment disposal procedures
- Experience with systems’ lifecycles
- Experience with the sponsor’s multiple internal networks
- Understanding of the sponsor’s data center operations
- Experience working with mission partners to identify and troubleshoot physical IT infrastructure issues
- Knowledge of the sponsor’s ticketing system for tracking changes and incident management
Pay
Virginia Pay Range: $150,000 – $250,000 USD. Compensation is influenced by factors such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.
