About the role
This position is within the Land and Air Systems team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. The role involves developing and testing embedded systems, products, and services aimed at enhancing national security.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test embedded systems, products, and services that contribute to national security
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure successful project execution
- Apply systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and processes
- Communicate complex ideas through both written and verbal means
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Lead the systems development life cycle and demonstrate proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools
- Contribute to the creative problem-solving and development of innovative solutions
- Provide technical leadership and support to team members
- Present and negotiate solutions to meet challenging customer requirements
- Participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Education: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of job-related experience
- Experience: 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree
- Agile experience preferred
- Credential: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
