Systems Engineer

About the role

This project provides commercial systems engineering and logistics services to Department of Defense (DoD) and Combat Support Divisions (CSD) to perform function and requirements analysis, solution design, solution analysis (including value modeling, analysis of alternatives, and risk analysis), and systems integration to enable the realization of successful systems that provide the nation with a decisive advantage over adversaries. Technical services include exploring, designing, optimizing, integrating, and maintaining new and emerging technologies and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Performing systems engineering functions, including defining and documenting concept of operations, operational/system requirements, and use cases to support system development.
• Performing high-level system design.
• Specifying system/component performance and interface requirements; and developing installation, integration, and acceptance test plans.
• Continuously assessing existing organizational processes and work products to ensure they best facilitate strategic and tactical efforts.
• Cooking with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements.
• Defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of experience.
• An active security clearance.
