Systems Engineer
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and support the system-level design, development, integration, and testing of Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities for submarine platforms. Electrical Engineering with emphasis in electromagnetic, RF, and antenna theory with test experience. Basic understanding of submarine EW. Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies using Cameo to define, analyze, and manage system models, and requirements. Develop and maintain system requirements, ensuring bidirectional traceability from high-level mission needs down to subsystem implementation. Perform and assess RF system analysis, including cascade analysis, co-site interference, and overall mission-level performance. Support system verification and validation activities, contributing to technical reviews, design documentation, and test events. Collaborate with multidisciplinary hardware, software, and test teams to ensure cohesive system architecture and design integrity. Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects. Validate the accuracy of engineering models by comparing system performance specifications to historic models. Ability to engage technically with mechanical, electrical, sensors, and software leads.
