This position requires 50-75 % travel to India for the first 2 years. Purpose of This Role To lead the systems engineering discipline at Antunes by establishing strong technical leadership, disciplined requirements management, and system-level thinking to ensure products are designed, verified, and delivered to anticipate and meet customer needs with high quality and reliability. Key Accountabilities Systems Leadership & Integration Set and own system requirements and architectures for new product development, collaborating with Product Management and cross-functional leaders to deliver scalable, manufacturable, and customer-ready solutions that balance performance, cost, and lifecycle value. V-Model Implementation & Discipline Establish the systems engineering V-model as the standard development philosophy, ensuring clear traceability from customer and regulatory requirements through architecture, design, integration, verification, and validation. Systems Engineering Process Maturity Build, standardize, and continuously mature systems engineering processes, tools, and documentation standards aligned with industry best practices, enabling consistent execution and scalability across global teams. Product Lifecycle & Sustaining Support Provide systems-level leadership for sustaining engineering, including root cause analysis, design improvements, and performance optimization for existing products. Technical Review Rigor & Governance Drive disciplined technical review rigor throughout the product lifecycle, including requirements reviews, architecture and design reviews, and test readiness reviews—ensuring quality, alignment, and risk mitigation at every development stage. Leadership & Team Development Build and lead a global systems engineering team that serves as technical leads and system architects, integrating mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems across Antunes products. Qualifications Travel Requirements Willingness and ability to travel internationally (India) up to 50–75% for the first 2 years. Valid U.S. passport for international business travel. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline Minimum 3-8 years' experience supporting multi-site global manufacturing operations Experience with Microwave or kitchen equipment is a plus. Comfortable working in fast-paced manufacturing environments. Strong customer-service mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
