Systems Engineer - $179k -$199k

Key Responsibilities

• Design and integrate secure systems and cloud services.
• Support Linux administration, patching, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot networking, firewall, and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with security engineers to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure systems align with architecture and requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 11–16 years of systems engineering experience.
• Strong Linux command-line administration skills.
• Experience with Bash and Python scripting.
• Agile team experience.
• Hands-on systems engineering and automation experience.

Preferred Skills

• AWS cloud environments.
• Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet).
• Networking (routing, VPNs, firewalls, subnets, ports).
• Web Application Firewall (WAF) management.
• Configuration management and monitoring tools (AIDE, Jenkins, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Nexus).
• Cloud/non-cloud network integration and troubleshooting.
