About the role
We're looking for a Systems Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in Warwick. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, validation and integration of vehicle systems across our product range, working collaboratively with engineers, suppliers and stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
- Developing and documenting system requirements and architectures
- Capturing stakeholder needs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Supporting the integration of electrical, mechanical and communication systems
- Creating electrical interconnection schematics and supporting documentation
- Supporting vehicle commissioning, validation and fault-finding activities
- Contributing to DVP&R planning, validation and verification activities
- Working closely with software, testing and engineering teams to deliver effective system solutions
- Reviewing test results and supporting continuous improvement throughout product development
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience in systems engineering, system integration or product development
- Knowledge of requirements capture and management throughout the development lifecycle
- Experience working with system architectures, validation activities and the V-model
- The ability to communicate technical information clearly to a range of audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with electrical schematics and system commissioning activities
- Knowledge of CANbus, ISO26262, Functional Safety, or automotive/off-highway systems (advantageous but not essential)
Qualifications
We're interested in hearing from people who can bring a combination of technical knowledge, curiosity and collaborative working. You may be an experienced Systems Engineer or have developed relevant skills in a similar engineering environment.

Pay
Salary: between £40,000 and £60,000 pa DOE
Schedule
Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday
