Systems Architect - SPE
Responsibilities
- Define next generation products (specs, features, etc.) based on future customer needs, innovative ideas, competitive analysis, standards trends, marketing and R&D inputs, cost constraints, etc.
- Work closely with R&D throughout the design phase and until production release to address any definition-related topic.
- Prepare technical material to influence standardization activities ensure new product alignment.
- Attend standardization group meetings (IEEE, OIF, SFF, PCI-SIG).
- Visit key customers to understand their challenges/needs and promote new products.
Requirements
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree required.
- Master’s in electrical engineering preferred.
- 10+ years related semiconductor Product Definition / Standardization experience.
- Experience with standardization bodies processes, past attendance of standardization meetings and calls.
- System level experience with Networking technologies (Laser Drivers, TIAs, DSPs, Equalizers).
- Good analog and mixed signal circuitry knowledge.
- Self-driven, strong troubleshooting skills as well as adhering to project deadlines and business objectives.
- Able to work in and foster a teamwork environment with a demonstrated ability to share technical knowledge with others.
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization, possessing a thorough command of the English language, written as well as verbal.
- Able to travel over 20% of time including international travel.

- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and circuit design.
- Experience with networking standards and protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
The Salary Range for this position is $184,000 - $250,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
