About the role
The Systems Analyst Consultant position at TECO Services Inc. focuses on developing and integrating complex software solutions using OpenText products. This role involves leading software development projects, collaborating with business analysts, and providing 24/7 support for critical applications.
Responsibilities
- Develops complex software based on specifications provided.
- Led selection and implementation of software packages for in-depth configuration and integration.
- Collaborates with Business Systems Analysts and/or Business Partners to develop software specifications.
- Provides 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for applications classified as niche, core, or mission-critical.
- Coordinates maintenance activities including release schedules for functional areas.
- Executes the design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC by producing the prescribed deliverables.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Professional certifications in specific job-related disciplines are preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies.
- Stays current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Good verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
Skills
Preferred skills include C# programming to the OpenText API, development experience in Opentext Exstream, and working knowledge of OpenText products such as OpenText Archiving and Doc Access, OpenText Archive Center, OpenText Content Server, OpenText Capture Center, OpenText Enterprise Scan, OpenText Web Viewer, OpenText Vendor Invoice Management for SAP, Intelligent Capture Center, and OpenText Directory Services.
