Systems Analyst (AWS Connect)

6-month contract position located in Tampa, FL (33607) – 5 days on site. Work authorization: US Citizen or Green Card only.

Systems Analyst specializing in AWS Connect, responsible for leading complex software development projects, driving continuous process improvement, and serving as a subject-matter expert in multiple business and technical areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline
• One or more professional certifications in job-related disciplines
• 10+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development
• AWS Connect experience (implementation, development, and configuration) – required
• Experience in Python coding/programming
• Expert knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies

Responsibilities

• Leads complex software development projects
• Collaborates with Business Systems Analysts and/or Business Partners to develop software specifications
• Leads selection and implementation of software packages requiring in-depth configuration and integration; drives substantial interaction with vendor resources
• Leads integration of applications with complex interfaces based on provided specifications
• Provides 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for niche, core, or mission-critical applications
• Coordinates maintenance activities, including release schedules for one or more functional areas
• Supports request and analysis phases of SDLC by producing required documentation and estimates; manages and oversees junior staff in deliverable production
• Executes design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC by producing prescribed deliverables; manages and oversees junior staff in deliverable production
• Participates on Application Development and Support teams as well as project teams under manager or project manager direction
• May function as Technical Lead on projects, overseeing technical staff and leading multiple concurrent projects
• Serves as subject-matter expert in multiple business areas relevant to projects and application support assignments
• Mentors and directs junior staff; develops and drives standard practices within the team
• Develops project plans for small projects; partners with Project Managers to develop plans for large projects
• Assists manager with project scheduling and resource management
• Creates and reviews technical design specifications; possesses knowledge of development tools and technologies supporting IT Architecture
• Drives continuous process improvement for SDLC, maintenance, application support, and technology architecture

Pay

$48 – $50 per hour
