Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Lead collaboration with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine complex business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into well-defined user stories with clear business value and acceptance criteria. Partner with Product Managers to compose backlogs, support quarterly planning, and manage delivery priorities. Facilitate refinement sessions and ensure stories are ready for development using ATDD principles.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve enterprise HR technology platforms, with a strong focus on Workday integrations, AWS-based services, and payroll/benefits systems.
• Drive delivery across critical initiatives including compensation, payroll, recruiting, talent management, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring platform stability, scalability, and engineering excellence.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand key business drivers and requirements, going beyond simply gathering requirements to fully understand the "why" behind them.
• Collaborate with development teams and technology partners to translate these needs into well-defined user stories and scalable system solutions that drive high-quality, timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 4-6 plus years of experience as a System Analyst supporting complex technology solutions
• A bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field
• Solid experience in requirements analysis, backlog management, and Agile delivery practices
• Understanding of enterprise platforms, including Workday integrations, AWS-based services, and payroll/benefits systems.
