Systems Analyst

About the role
The Systems Analyst creates innovative, custom solutions to streamline employee workflows, enhance internal visibility of business processes, and improve service to Boone Power members. This role involves analyzing business needs, developing custom solutions, customizing third-party system interfaces, and providing technical support. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Information Services Technology and may take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs of internal stakeholders across multiple projects.
- Develop custom solutions to address business requirements.
- Customize third-party system interfaces.
- Provide technical support to meet business needs.
- Conduct research to solve problems, recommend solutions, and communicate with project stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Develop reports and analyze data stored in relational database management systems (RDBMS).
Requirements
- One of the following:
- BA/BS Degree and 1 year of experience;
- Associate Degree and 5 years of experience; or
- High School diploma and 10 years of experience.
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL against traditional RDBMS (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and productivity suites.
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience with full-stack programming using a modern web-development framework.
- Preferred knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
