Systems Analyst

Responsibilities For Systems Analyst Manage the set-up and configuration of systemsEvaluating current IT systems, including hardware, software, and network featuresCommunicating with management and employees to determine system requirementsPlanning new systems that address any issues with the current systemsPrepare cost-benefit analysis reports for all proposed upgradesDefine and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance processProvide documentation of all processes and training as neededDevelop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarmsPerform design, implementation, and upgrades of information systems to meet the business and user needsImplement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance Qualifications For Systems Analyst Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience7-10 years experience working with information technologies and systems analysisStrong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skillsProven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutionsStrong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administrationExperience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systemsWorking knowledge of a wide variety of programming languagesExcellent analytical skills
