Systems Analyst
About the Role
Under the supervision of the IT Business Systems Manager and following established policies and procedures, the System Analyst will assist in the maintenance, support, and enhancement of the ERP and ancillary systems for GBMC. This role involves collaborating with the IT Business Systems Manager and Senior Systems Analysts to execute and deliver solutions addressing identified business problems, educating users, managing timelines, ensuring quality control, and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Performs user group facilitation, including meeting preparation, facilitation, feedback, request prioritization, and status updates.
- Proposes system solutions to address business problems, educating user groups on available options, pros/cons, and estimated completion times.
- Ensures all application changes follow appropriate change control measures for quality assurance and system stability.
- Serves as the primary communication conduit between MIS vendors, the user community, and any changes to the application of primary ownership.
- Identifies gaps and potential solutions between user needs and MIS resources to assist management in resource allocation decisions.
- Resolves technical issues for assigned applications in a timely manner, based on complexity, priority, and available options.
- Manages projects to defined timelines and budgets using standard project tools (e.g., charter workplan, issues list, budget).
- Mentors team members and users on application and technical expertise, providing prompt, respectful, and specific input for better outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or applicable experience.
- 4 years of experience supporting software applications; healthcare setting preferred.
- 4 years of experience in software development/engineering, data analysis, or scripting.
- Previous role in implementation or support of a similar application or application suite.
- Experience managing small projects (less than 3 months in duration).
Skills
- Thorough knowledge of computer systems and methods utilized in a healthcare setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of Workday HCM or Workday FIN (preferred).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Skill in business process analysis and business integration.
- Experience with Workday Custom Reports, Integration Systems, EIB, and Studio.
- Knowledge of Workday Custom Reports, Calculated Fields, and EIB (preferred).
- Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and SSMS.
- Knowledge of ITSM systems, experiences, and management reporting.
- Understanding of Workday Security Administration and Configuration.
- Knowledge of file encryption and transfer using FTP and SFTP.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
Qualifications
- At least one Workday Pro certification (preferred).
Working Conditions
This role operates in a normal office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or unfavorable temperatures. Includes on-call responsibility for systems support.

Pay
Pay Range: $74,965.56 - $127,441.45. Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, and alignment with organizational needs.
