About the Role
The Systems Analyst creates innovative, custom solutions to streamline employee workflows, enhance internal visibility into business processes, and improve service for Boone Power members. This role works on multiple projects, analyzing business needs, developing custom solutions, customizing third-party system interfaces, and providing technical support. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Information Services Technology.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs of internal stakeholders to design and implement custom solutions.
- Develop and customize third-party system interfaces to meet business requirements.
- Provide technical support to address business needs and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder communication.
- Conduct research to address problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively with non-technical users.
Qualifications
- One of the following:
- BA/BS Degree and 1 year of experience;
- Associate Degree and 5 years of experience; or
- High School diploma and 10 years of experience.
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL against traditional RDBMS (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
- Experience developing reports from and analyzing data stored in an RDBMS.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and productivity suites.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Full-stack programming experience using a modern web-development framework.
- Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
