About the role

Serve as IT systems trusted advisor. Provide expert council on selection of IT systems, components, and technologies. Oversee integration planning and deployment of IT systems. Coordinate with customer to ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, including STIG, RMF, and vulnerability management best practice. Evaluate technologies and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert council on selection of IT systems, components, and technologies.
  • Oversee integration planning and deployment of IT systems.
  • Cook up with customer to ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, including STIG, RMF, and vulnerability management best practice.
  • Evaluate technologies and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a related field
  • Minimum of 20 years related experience supporting classified and unclassified DoD environments.
  • Senior / expert level knowledge of the following:
    • IT infrastructure design and implementation
    • Windows workstation and Server OS
    • Active Directory
    • RHEL
    • Vmware vCenter/vSphere
    • High performance computing clusters (HPC)
    • Automation tools such as PowerShell and Ansible
    • RMF auditing
    • STIG mitigation
    • SCAP/SCC
    • Vulnerability management with Tenable Nessus
    • Patch and configuration management (WSUS)
    • Backup and recovery implementations
    • Log and event monitoring and management
  • Minimum of DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • U.S. Citizenship Required

  • Experience with vulnerability management with Tenable Nessus
  • Experience with patch and configuration management (WSUS)
  • Experience with backup and recovery implementations
  • Experience with log and event monitoring and management
