Systems Administrator Senior

Supports, designs, maintains and monitors internal and external networks.
Implements and manages all systems, applications, security and network configurations.
Resolves network performance issues and establishes a disaster recovery plan.

Provides technical support and guidance to users.

Requirements

• Primacy on Linux/RHEL operating systems administration and associated hardware; knowledgeable on Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Experience in effective communication and collaborating in a high-performance team environment.
• RBAC and STIG policy management for RHEL systems.
• Ansible automation/playbooks; YAML.
• Working knowledge of CISCO network and switching and virtualization technologies.
• Working knowledge of virtualization as it applies to users environments, operating systems, and network appliances.
• Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies.
• Working knowledge communication security (COMSEC) policies and integration.
• Working knowledge and current relevant experience with IL4 and above network environments/systems.
• Familiarity with DoD policy as it applies to implementing and executing system and network administration.
• Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework and how to apply it to network/information system environments.
• Working knowledge in the following programming languages: Bash scripting, Python.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years relevant experience and Masters degree; or 18+ years and a Bachelor’s degree, or; or 25+ years and Associates degree.
• One or more Cyber/Sys Admin certs: Security+, Linux, Red Hat, AWS Cloud, CCNA or DoD 8140 Advanced Proficiency.
• Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• SAR/SAP experience highly desirable.

Skills

• Familiarity with DoD policy as it applies to implementing and executing system and network administration.
• Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework and how to apply it to network/information system environments.
• Working knowledge in the following programming languages: Bash scripting, Python.

Benefits

Base pay range for this position in Colorado is $135,000/year to $165,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $135,000/year to $165,000/year.

Schedule

You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.
