Senior Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Maintains system resources, monitors CPU, disk usage, and response times.
• Performs systems security administration, creates user profiles and accounts.
• Other duties include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, and allocating mass storage space.
• Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
• Makes recommendations for purchasing hardware and software, coordinates installations, and provides backup recovery.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for computing resource allocation.
• May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Comptia Security+ certification.
• At least one Advanced Platform Certification: RHCSA RHCE or Windows equivalent.
• Minimum 8–12 years of progressively responsible systems administration experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise, multi-user environments in DoD or Intelligence Community settings preferred.
• Experience operating in classified environments.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Senior Systems Administrator maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00.
