Systems Administrator, Salesforce
Wolverine World Wide, Inc. is seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and reliability of our e-commerce operations, which directly impacts our customer satisfaction and business success.
About the Role
The successful candidate will serve as a system administrator for our portfolio of B2C Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) webstores as well as our Salesforce ecosystem (SFCC, SFSC, SOM). They will handle administrative functions, including user roles and permissions, sandbox management, configuration of system preferences, and other operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage site preferences and configurations in business manager to optimize stability, performance, security and compliance across our portfolio of brand sites.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce technology and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, with a particular focus on security and compliance.
- Work with brand teams to understand their unique business needs and then customize Salesforce to meet business requirements.
- Perform data hygiene checks, data cleanup and tasks to ensure data integrity and optimization for SEO best practices.
- Ensure platform stability, reliability, and speed, and implement measures to improve.
- Manage platform security and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain platform documentation for best practices and processes within business manager, including user guides, playbooks, training materials, and technical documentation.
- Provide training to internal users to ensure best practices are being followed.
- Work with IT and the Product teams to identify and address technical issues and implement platform enhancements.
- Maintain platform performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Administrator.
- 2+ years of experience managing Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Salesforce Order Management.
- 1+ year of experience developing and implementing effective security and compliance improvements and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - using data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Familiarity with industry standards related to e-commerce and data privacy.
- Preferred: Salesforce Commerce Cloud certification.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and related technologies.
- Experience with payment & tax solutions, carrier integrations, marketplaces, and other systems that are part of the direct-to-consumer purchase journey.
