About the role
Raytheon Digital Technology OSCQ is seeking a Systems Administrator – Operational Technology to contribute as a key team member in a fast-paced, technology-driven factory environment. You will apply advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues of moderate to high complexity across hardware, operating systems, and integrated platforms.
Responsibilities
- Support and configure Operational Technology (OT) environments, including industrial control systems, switches, networked automation devices, and secure connectivity solutions bridging OT and IT networks.
- Ensure all systems adhere to OT security standards while maintaining high reliability across factory production and manufacturing operations.
- Perform IT systems administration within a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Linux environment, leveraging knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and server replication technologies.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure components with a strong focus on optimizing performance, security, and connectivity.
- Partner closely with Cybersecurity teams to uphold security requirements and safeguards across all systems and environments.
- Support 24x7 operational systems, which may require occasional work outside standard hours.
- Travel up to 10% annually to domestic U.S. locations based on business needs.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- Windows and/or Linux systems administration experience.
- Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience with network switch configurations.
- Network and infrastructure services such as domain controllers, global catalogs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Infrastructure backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies: MDT/WSUS/MECM; Windows desktops (Windows 10 & 11).
- CompTIA Security+ certification or other industry-recognized certifications relevant to a Windows System Administrator.
- ITIL Foundations and/or ITIL Service Operations.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
