Systems Administrator - multiple levels - FULLY CLEARED with POL with Security Clearance

About the role

Constellation Technologies Inc is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator with a fully cleared background, including a current polygraph. The ideal candidate must have at least eight to fourteen years of direct experience in systems administration, with a bachelor's degree in a technical field such as System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to end users and technical staff (developers, testers, engineers, etc.)
• Manage Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, and Active Directory
• Work with Linux and Microsoft-based servers and workstations
• Implement and maintain OS and Application Hardening in DISA, Best Practices, and High Assurance environments
• Deploy, patch, and manage operating systems, and perform basic system backup and restore functions
• Utilize SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, and Nessus
• Work with Red Hat 7 and 8, and VMWare
• Configure and manage Apache Tomcat, IIS, and SQL server databases
• Document and provide information for security accreditation and certification
• Optimize system operations and understand advanced security protocols and standards
• Support Network Security Technologies, High Assurance platforms, and application integration testing methods
• Operate both Client and Server virtualization environments
• Perform lifting up to 50 lbs and support occasional travel

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph within the last five years
• At least eight to fourteen years of direct/relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university (preferred)
• Experience with Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, and Active Directory
• Experience with Linux and Microsoft-based servers and workstations
• Experience with Windows 2019
• Experience with OS and Application Hardening to include DISA, Best Practices, and High Assurance environments
• Experience with software/hardware deployment, patches, and operating systems, and basic system backup and restore functions
• Experience with and/or knowledge of Red Hat 7 and 8, and VMWare
• Experience with Apache Tomcat, IIS, and/or SQL server database
• Experience documenting and providing information for security accreditation and certification
• A solid understanding of advanced security protocols and standards
• Experience with Network Security Technologies (e.g. Multiple Domain, PKI, SSP, and Vulnerability Assessment)
• Experience with High Assurance platforms and application integration testing methods
• Experience with both Client and Server virtualization environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and reimaging hardware
• Knowledge of PKI systems which use HSMs to validate keys and NTP for synchronization
• Experience optimizing system operations
• A solid understanding of information security principles and practices
• Experience with or familiarity with software and security architectures
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems, VMware, and Networking: Switches, Routers, LANs, & cabling
• Ability to support occasional day or short duration travel, if needed
