About the role

FEDITC, LLC is a fast-growing business supporting DoD and other intelligence agencies worldwide. FEDITC develops mission-critical national security systems throughout the world directly supporting the Warfighter, DoD Leadership, & the country. This role involves managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems to ensure optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing IT challenges within a mission-critical environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain system software and infrastructure in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Implement and maintain system security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and continuity.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions within various operating systems and applications.
  • Conduct system audits and generate reports to ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Collaborate with network and application teams to support integrated solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator.
  • Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in system management tools.
  • Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Certifications

  • CompTIA Security+
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server 2019

Security Clearance

  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’s Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
