Location: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Responsibilities
- Administer IBM MQ & App Connect Enterprise (ACE) environments
- Install, configure, patch, and troubleshoot MQ/ACE platforms
- Perform environment management, vulnerability remediation, and production support
- Support Linux-based environments using Shell/Bash scripting
- Participate in an on-call rotation for production support
- Collaborate with Linux and virtualization teams while expanding cloud capabilities
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of IBM MQ Administration experience
- Hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB) Administration
- Strong Linux administration and Shell/Bash scripting skills
- Experience with troubleshooting, upgrades, and security patching
- Ansible scripting/playbooks is a plus
- AWS experience is a strong advantage
Schedule
- On-call rotation: Approximately one weekday per month and one weekend every two months
