About the role
This role supports a leading research institution associated with a major public university, renowned for its contributions to national security and applied research in information technology and advanced engineering. The institution provides cutting-edge computing environments and capabilities, ensuring secure, responsive, and compliant IT services for demanding research projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and document processes for streamlining or shifting to lower-tier teams
- Collaborate with technical teams to create or update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Create or update training documentation for complex systems and applications
- Assist with ticketing queues and other assigned tasks
- Routinely interact with other Information Technology professionals
Requirements
- Ability to express ideas clearly for strong teamwork and effective collaboration
- Proven success in an office environment demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills
- Aptitude for quickly learning and understanding new processes and procedures
- Strong ability to gather information through interviewing and reading specifications
- Desire to learn and continuously improve computer-related knowledge
- Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and multi-task to solve difficult problems

Schedule
